In the application, when you search for entities, the application displays the search results matching the search criteria. The same search results can be saved using Saved Searches. You can create a combinational search and save them for future use or can be shared with others of the same role. This minimizes the effort to locate the same set of entities again.
- Search entities via Saved Searches is the Search page of Thing Domain, Digital Asset, Reference Data domains and in all the out-of-the-box (OOTB) reports such as Entity Summary, Data Quality, Workflow SLA, and Trend Report.
- Minimize the effort to locate your entities by navigating to the Saved Searches in the Home app.
The prerequisite for saving a search is to run a search. For more information, see Quick Search or Filter Search.
To view the entities that are part of the selected saved search:

On the navigation menu, click the Home app.
Result: The Home dashboard is displayed.

Click on the saved search that you wish to load. In this scenario, click on image-mandatory-attribute saved search.
Result: The selected saved search and their respective search results are displayed in the Search page.
The saved searches that you create can be saved under any of the following, based on your requirement:
- My Search: The saved searches that are created by only you are displayed in this tab.
- Shared Search Results: The saved searches that are either created by you or by other users and shared with users of the same role or with all the users within the same tenant are displayed in this tab.
You can mark any of the saved searches in these two groups as Favorites. If any of the saved search is marked as favorite by you, then the saved search is displayed in the Favorites tab and not in their respective tabs.
Based on the search, the following common actions are supported in Favorites, My Search and Shared Search Results.
