Note:

The DMS solution does not include built-in user management capabilities. It relies on external IDP services or systems, which must be hosted or managed by the customer, for user authentication and configuration.

Upon login, you can view the application based on the configurations enabled for you. Likewise, you can logout from the application so that no one else can access the application or switch between different accounts depending on your needs.

Login

To log-in to the application:

  1. Launch the application using the URL, and the LOG IN page is displayed.

  1. Enter the unique Username or Email. For example, john.smith@syndigo.com.

  2. Enter the password in the Password textbox.

Note:

The recommendation is to follow strong industry-standard password policies.

  1. Click LOG IN.

    Result: When you log in to the application for the first time, a Consent Form page is displayed.

  2. Click on the EDS privacy notice hyperlink to read through the privacy policy.

  1. Select the “I acknowledge having read the EDS privacy notice and accept its terms” checkbox to provide your consent by acknowledging and agreeing to the terms and conditions defined by the company.

    Result: The system records the user’s consent to the EDS privacy notice. To know more, see EDS privacy notice.

Note:

Specifically, for the Supplier role, the Accept Terms & Conditions popup is also displayed.

Result: The Accept Terms & Conditions popup is displayed.

  1. Click Accept to log into the application.

    Result: The Home page is displayed.

Logout

You can logout of the application at any point of time or the application logs you out of the system automatically when the application is idle for specified period of time. Incase you try to interact with the system after a longer period of idle time, then session time out message is displayed. Currently, the application session timeout is set to 8 hours.

To log-out from the application:

  1. In the application header, click the User Profile icon.

    Result: A User Profile pop-up is displayed.

  2. Click Logout to logout of the application.

Session Timeout

Scenario1: Consider that you are logged into the application and left the application idle without performing any action for last 7 hours. After 7 hours of idle time, if you try to access the application, then the user rolling session is extended to next 8 hours from the time of access.

Scenario 2: Consider that you are working on an entity in the
Entity Manage page, and you have not performed any action from the last 24 hours. After 24 hours of idle time, if you interact with the application then the application displays a message "Your session has expired. Click here to login".

Other Scenarios

The application displays error messages in the following scenarios:

Scenario 1: Your system browser is not supported.

Scenario 2: Network error during login. You can try reloading the application or contact the administrator.
