Search, Filter, and View Task Status

You can search, filter tasks that are submitted only by you, and/or view tasks based on task type, status, and end time.

Search Task

Consider that you wish to search for task that has "Supplier Imports" in the "Entity Data Imports" type.

To search for a specific task:

  1. On the application header, click the Task Status icon.

    Result: The Task Status drawer is displayed.

  2. Select Entity Data Imports from the Type drop-down list.

    Result: All the existing Entity Data Imports tasks are displayed.

  3. Enter "Supplier Imports" keyword in the search bar and press Enter.

    Result: All the tasks matching the search criteria are displayed.

Upon searching the required task, you can perform any of the following:
* Click the View Details link corresponding to the task to display the Task Detail page.

Filter Tasks based on 'Status' and 'Type'

Consider that you wish to search for all the "Entity Data imports" tasks with "Completed" status.

To filter tasks based on task status or task types:

  1. On the application header, click the Task Status icon.

    Result: The Task Status drawer is displayed.

  2. Select Entity Data Imports from the Type drop-down list.

  3. Select Validation Completed from the Status drop-down list.

    Result: All the tasks matching the search criteria are displayed.

Filter Task based on 'End Time'

Consider that you wish to search for all the "Entity Data Exports" tasks that are in "Completed" status and performed within the "7 days".

To filter tasks based on task end time:

  1. On the application header, click the Task Status icon.

    Result: The Task Status drawer is displayed.

  2. Select Entity Data Imports from the Type drop-down list.

  3. Select Validation Completed from the Status drop-down list.

  4. Select 7 Days from the From Last drop-down list.

    Result: All the tasks matching the search criteria are displayed.

View only 'My Tasks'

Consider that you wish to search for all the "Entity Data Imports" tasks with "Completed" status only submitted by you.

To view only my tasks:

  1. On the application header, click the Task Status icon.

    Result: The Task Status drawer is displayed.

  2. Select the following options in Type, Status and From Last filters.

  3. Turn on My Tasks toggle button.

    Result: The Task Detail drawer displays tasks that are initiated by you.

  1. Click the corresponding View Details link.

    Result: The Task Detail page is displayed.
