An Archived Document in applications refers to a document that has been moved from one folder to another for reference. When you re-upload an identical document, the older document will automatically be moved to the Archived Documents section in the relationships.
Consider that you wish to re-upload the expired Letter of Guarantee (LOG) document in the application.

To re-upload the expired document:

On the navigation menu, click Search Suppliers.

Result: The Search page is displayed.

On the Search page, click Type Filter, select either Plant or Supplier, and click Save.

Result: The Search page is displayed according to the selected filter.

Click on the Supplier link.

Result: The Entity Manage page is displayed.

Select Documents form Assets drop-down.

Result: The Documents Assets page is displayed.

Select Add or Upload & Add from the More Actions drop-down menu to re-upload an expired document.

- If Add is selected, the Add Relationship dialog is displayed. Select the document from the Add Relationship tab and click Save.

Result: The Add Relationship page is displayed.
- Select the document and click Save.

Result: A confirmation message Relationships saved is displayed and the grid displays the new upload document.

Or
- If Upload & Add is selected, the Upload & Add Document page is displayed. You can drag and drop the file or click the Upload File button to select the file from your system.

Result: A confirmation message ‘Assets(s) upload and linked successfully’ is displayed.

Also, you can perform any of the following:
- Click Finish & Close to go to Documents Assets page.
- Click Show task details to go to the Entity Manage page.

Click the Refresh icon.

Result: The older document will automatically be moved to the Archived Documents relationships.

To view the archived documents,
- Click on Assets > Archived Documents dropdown.
Or - Click the Summary tab > Assets widget. Click on the Archived Documents link.

Result: The Archived Documents page displays the list of the documents.
